Yesterday I was freaking exhausted. I decided to do just a handful of things that needed to be done and then treat my body to a nice nap. I am laying down to unwind and decided to check out our neighborhood newsletter. There is a whole article on Halloween in our neighborhood. If you didn't hear us discuss before, I recently found out that our new neighborhood is a "full size candy bar" neighborhood. I have never lived in one of those neighborhoods before. To be honest I've never even trick-or-treated in one of those neighborhoods before. I wasn't stoked on the news cause I figured instead of spending the usual $40 - $60 on candy this year it would be more like $150. As I am reading along and the writer mentions how they had over 400 trick-or-treaters last year. WTF???? Over 400???? I immediately Google "Costco box full size Snickers". A box of 48 costs about $30….with 400 trick-or-treaters that is going to run me $270. Really????? This neighborhood is too much for my cheap anti-candy for young children ass. Check out the article below…..
