If you have listened to The Show for a few years now you might remember that I was the last one of us on Facebook. I actually lost a bet and my punishment was having to set up a Facebook account. I thought Facebook was stupid. I figured that there is a reason I don't communicate and keep in touch with more than a handful of people. My life has been perfectly fine up to this point without knowing what some random chick from my Elementary School made for dinner last night. Eventually I got over it and became semi social media savvy. I now have Facebook, Twitter and Instagram. I really like Instagram and actually thought I was starting to get pretty hip to all this social media stuff. Next I hear about Pheed which was going to be the next big thing. I considered setting up an account but then thought I would give it some time. Now this week Ashlee comes in and tells me the new hip thing is something called Vine. If I am understanding correctly it is like Twitter in video form. So you post a video but it can only be 6 seconds. Just like how Twitter restricts your message to a certain amount of characters, Vine restricts you video to just 6 seconds. Ashlee then starts scrolling threw her phone showing me all the people that are on Vine. Then yesterday I see this entertainment story about 2 Chainz getting arrested for drugs in his luggage at LAX. I am reading the article and TMZ sites 2 Chainz Vine account as evidence of him using drugs. To Vine or not to Vine? I feel like my social media plate is already full. I am not really a fan of how fast all these new apps and social media sites are moving. I feel like as soon as I start to understand and enjoy something the rest of the world has already moved on to something else. Can we just slow down world????
Here is 2 Chainz Vine video full of incriminating evidence entitled "Trying to get use to Vine ha"
