Is there such a thing as too much Disneyland? I guess you can have too much of anything. Are you spoiling your child if you take them to Disneyland more than once a year? This was the discussion the hubby and I had yesterday. The Show is taking a few days off next month and I thought it would be nice to use the time to take Lovelyn to Disneyland. With the new house we don't have money to go on a big vacation this year, but I still wanted to do something fun. I figured Disneyland is a nice compromise cause it is close enough where we don't need to buy plane tickets, we know Lovelyn will have a blast and we can go for just a few days and feel like we were gone for a week. The husband wasn't so sure of the plan. He figured that we would wait until the end of the year cause that is normally when Disneyland invites The Show to broadcast from their newest attraction. This has happened the past two years but is no sort of guarantee. The hubby felt that the chance of going to Disneyland twice in one year is too excessive. He mentioned how he only went to Disneyland once the whole time he was a kid. On one hand I totally see what he is saying about not wanting to spoil your kid and not wanting your kid to just expect to get things. But on the other hand I feel like we are lucky to live so close to Disneyland and have the means to treat our daughter to a great trip. I hate to be a pessimist but who knows how long we will be lucky enough to be able to do fun things like this. After talking about it for a bit we decided to yes go to Disneyland for a few days and just enjoy life as it comes. See ya soon Mickey!
