I take 100% responsibility for The Show being on Best-Of yesterday. I am so sorry. I know we had such a cool show planned and that B-Rob and Intern Thor had worked hard on their songs for The Battle of The Cities competition. The Show will normally go on one person down. But yesterday Costa had already requested the day off like a month in advance, so we would have been two people down. But my friends, I had no choice. Today I feel like I have been hit by a truck. I'm not sure if it was the stomach flu or food poisoning but either way it sucked!!! Went to yoga with Ashlee on Wednesday and even though during class I felt the need to get sick, after class I felt pretty good. I went home and hung out with the family then during Lovelyn's nap time I was able to get a nap too. I woke up feeling horrible. I figured I was just overly tired and would shake it off in about 10 minutes. Not so much. This is when the fun began. I won't go into details but after I got sick the first time I thought I was good and I got the sickness out of me. I sit down to dinner with the family and eat an apple sauce as my meal, few minutes late………it gets ugly again! That is when I knew I was going to be down for the count for a little while. The whole night is miserable, getting up every hour or so. I am not that worried about it because I already know that I am not making it to work. So I figure I'll have my mom watch the baby to get her out of the house and I'll be able to rest all day. Wake up to the baby crying because she has now gotten sick all over herself and her crib. After that of course my mom wants nothing to do with my infected lab monkey family, who would? So yesterday I did the best to rest while at the same time keeping Lovelyn entertained. I guess the only good thing about her getting sick too was that she had less energy than normal. So yesterday her energy was only about 50 times mine. Now today I feel like I have pulled every single muscle in my stomach and back. I want to take some Tylenol but I'm super scared to put anything in my stomach. I am so freaking stoked today that we have such a jam packed show. With the Battle of the Cities we have both the parody songs and the stand up competition. Hopefully all that will be required of me this morning is to sit in a chair and laugh. Stay healthy everyone……..wash your hands!!!!!
