Yesterday I caused quite the stir with my Top 10 Superhero Movies List. I don't know why anyone would be upset. It's my list. It's the movies I like. Not yours. You can like whatever you want. Your list would probably be totally different from mine. So I was shocked at how many people called, e-mailed, Facebooked over it. Where is Spawn? Why isn't Sin City on it? Why is this movie lower than this one? Because it's MY list! That's why. I didn't like Spawn more than the other movies in my Top 10. Do I really need to explain that? But I am happy with it. In case you didn't get to hear it, here it is:
There were a lot of movies that I considered that didn't quite make it. I really liked X-Men 3. A lot of people didn't. I was ok with the Fantastic Four movies. Not enough to be in my Top 10. Superman II was the only Superman I even considered. Just missed out. And the most controversial one that didn't make it was Batman. The first movie with Michael Keaton. The reason it didn't make it was the Dark Knight. Once those movies came out, it made the original Batman movies irrelevant. Sorry. I would even put Batman Begins in before that Batman movie. Said it.
Today is my daughter Taylor's birthday. She turns 4 today. That seems impossible. I can remember like it was yesterday being in the delivery room, freaked out, seeing her for the first time. She has become the most delightful, full of joy, little girl I could have ever hoped for. She is going to change the world with her smile. She is the light of my life. I love her with all my heart. Happy Birthday Boo!
