The Aaron Hernandez story yesterday was super compelling. Right when we went on the air yesterday, he was being lead out of his house in handcuffs. Then a little later the news broke that the Patriots released him. Which I found crazy. If they are arresting him on obstruction charges, that seems a little hasty to cut ties with the guy. He is one of the better tight ends in the league. Seemed weird to me. Well, it was only hours after that we found out the real deal. He was being charged with first degree murder. Holy cow. The way things were shaking down, I think we all thought he might have had something to do with the murder. But I didn't think it would be that quick. I was pretty surprised. Looks like the have the murder weapon too. The guy is not very smart. Looks like he took a selfie in a mirror of him holding up the gun. Not sure when it was taken, but it doesn't matter. If they can link that gun to the murder, he is done. Such a waste.
One of my favorite shows is back. Big Brother returned last night! There is one guy from San Diego on the show. Oh man. This is the guy that gives us Californians a bad rap. He is a dumb, surfer, lifeguard guy. Everything out of his mouth so far has made me groan. They have loaded the house up with attractive, young people this season. Usually they have a couple of older people in the mix, but not this year. They know what sells. The only bad news for me was Big Brother After Dark, which was a live uncensored look in the house, that would air nightly on Showtime 2, is not on TVGN. Which means it is now censored. No cussing. So they just cut the audio when somebody says a bad word. Well that means that 90% of what airs is being cut out. What's the point? I couldn't even watch. It was terrible. Bad move Big Bro.
We are doing Throw Back Thursdays on the Show and on our blogs. Check out this picture of the crew from 2006...look at Rob!
