Had a busy weekend. Woke up Saturday morning to a phone call from my bank letting me know that my debit card info had been stolen. Someone was racking up the charges all over the place. Great. Luckily they caught it in time and I wasn't on the hook for any of the charges. That is the first time that has happened to me. I do a lot of online shopping, so I'm surprised it hasn't happened sooner.
We were supposed to go to a little girl birthday party on Saturday. Got the family all together and showed up to find out it was a Barbie party and that only little girls and the Moms were there. I stood out like a sore thumb. I had no clue. Thanks Debra! So I took off. The sucky part was I had to come back 2 hours later and pick them up. It was worth it. No way was I sticking around for that.
Jack took his first legit steps this weekend. He has done a lot of falling/walking, but this is the first time he walked in between me and Debra. He is gonna be off and running before you know it. He is hard to coral now, this is gonna make our jobs 50 times harder.
We took the kids to see Monsters University. Monsters Inc. is Taylor's favorite movie of all time. Ever since she was little and I told her she looked like Boo, she has been in love with it. Her favorite ride at Disneyland is of course the Monsters Inc. ride. She has everything Monsters Inc. possible. So when she found out there was another movie being made she flipped. So needless to say she was pretty excited. I was just worried Jack would not do well in the movie. I hate being the parent that has their kid screaming in the movie, so I was prepared to take him out if need be. I am happy to report he was cool as can be. We sat there and watched most of the movie and eventually fell asleep. Score! Taylor absolutely loved it. She had the biggest smile on her face the entire time. I liked it too.
I finally upgraded my phone to the iPhone 5. I had been rocking the 3G for a while now. It was time. I love the new phone. It is sweet. I can take selfies now! Not sure if that is a good thing or not.
