The Pregnant Bikini Pageant was a lot of fun.  Everything went pretty swimmingly until the very end.  We crowned the winner and went off the air.  We were about to take some pictures with the winner when all hell broke loose.  One of the contestants gets into a huge brawl with another chick in the crowd.  I couldn't believe my eyes.  A pregnant lady taking full swings at another girl.  Of course, in every girl fight, the fight goes to hair pulling and is broken up.  It was a true Springer moment.  I was stunned.  So stunned that I didn't take my phone out and record it.  What is wrong with me?  That sucker would have gone viral in minutes!  Gotta think quicker next time.  It was insane.  I guess the issue was it was the baby daddy's current girl and she was in the audience to mock the contestant or something.  Who cares.  You don't get into a fight when you are pregnant, especially in your third tri-mester.  Beyond bizarre.  But it was a first in 17 years of doing the contest.  And the first for my eyes in 40 years of life.

Went to see Star Trek Into Darkness this weekend.  It was really good.  Especially if you know a little about the Trek lore.  If you don't, I think it it still gonna be good for you, but for Trek fans, this is it.  It's as good as it gets.  Lots of spoilers, so I won't go into detail, but the action and visuals are outstanding.  It has me really excited to see what JJ Abrams bring to Star Wars.  If this is any hint, it's gonna be huge.

Yesterday I got to play at media day at the Celebrity Championship at the La Costa Resort and Spa.  The place is gorgeous.  I haven't golfed in about 3 months.  So I knew I would be a little shaky out there.  But I stepped up to the first tee and banged a perfect drive right down the middle.  Nice!  It didn't go that well for the rest of the round, but not bad.  In fact, on one hole I send a rocket screaming down the fairway.  It took a bad kick and hit the cart path and then slammed right into a house.  It happens.  But this lady then decides to come out and taunt me!  She picks up my ball and starts screaming at me across the fairway "I got your Callaway!"  And waving it at me.  Really?  Lady, you chose to live on a golf course.  How many times a day do you do that?  Because I can guarantee you that I am not the first person to ever hit your house.  I let her have the ball.  Not worth my time.  Keep it lady.  A lot of the celebrities were on the course for a practice round. I saw Bruce Jenner (aka: Mr. Kardashian), Rollie Fingers, Alfonso Ribero (aka: Carlton), Jermaine Dye, Mark Mulder and more.  It was cool.  I even ran into Brian Baumgartner (aka: Kevin from the Office)!  I took this picture with him...

Such a nice guy.  It was so weird being that last night was the finale of the Office.  He didn't seem too bummed about it.  He said it's been 9 years, he's ready to move on.  He must be a good actor because he was nothing like Kevin.  As I was leaving, I was waiting for my car when this car pulls up...

A freaking Lamborghini!  Those are the kind of cars you see at the La Costa Resort and Spa.  Then my dumb car rolls up.  Embarrassing. 

I am golfing today at media day at the Celebrity Championship.  This used to be Stan Humphries and then Drew Brees' tournament and now it's hosted by Marshall Faulk.  I've got to play in it the last few years.  It's a lot of fun.  You get to see a lot of the celebrities practicing.  They start play tomorrow.  We get the course first.  My football hero is Jerry Rice.  He is playing as well.  If I ever get to meet him, it will be a dream come true.  I'm gonna try and make that happen.  Anyway, the tournament is up at La Costa Resort.  It was there last year too.  Beautiful place.  I'm looking forward to it.  This always reminds me of the time I told my Dad I was playing in a celebrity golf tournament where each foursome got to play with a celebrity.  He looked at me and said "Cool, who's your celebrity?"  I had to break it to him that I was the celebrity.  He didn't really get it.  I don't blame him.  Imagine how my foursome must have felt.  We get who?  Ha!
