My baby laughing.. This makes my heart melt but honestly at this point with how pregnant(by proxy) I m what doesnt. No but really this does.
A little smooshy. Wicked cute nonetheless.
I love writing to my child. I have a few books baby books where I write to my child. I m trying to stay dedicated to writing to baby. Here is where I become too heady on what I am writing... I think, well my child wont be reading this as a baby and will actually being reading and enjoying when baby is older. This is where I ask myself what do I write or how much do I include. Obviously I am documenting the fun things and the interesting things we are going through as soon to be parents. And I am documenting and writing about what Mom and Dad are like at this time before baby's arrival. I know those are the things I would have loved to have from my parents especially having that now would be awesome to read. I just dont know if I include my passionate rantings or my stuggles. I want to keep this memory book one to reflect on of all the good. I think to keep it real I will include particular rants of mine, maybe more light hearted ones. I think baby will get a gage of what Dad is like by reading my rants. Haha
My video notebook for baby is not as consistent as I would like. But that takes the baby books to the next level. I need to create a theme / main idea for each video. I know if I do this the videos will be easier to create. Its going to be fun looking back watching the videos when baby is all grown up. This is another thing as an adult I would LOVE to have had [videos] from my parents.
The big stories today are Pride weekend and the Trayvon Martin George Zimmerman case verdict.
I'm not wrapped in the Zimmerman verdict. I know a weird thing I say on the web was if you google Trayvon's name looking for photos, there are some way different photos than the hoodie photo the media is using as a billboard for the case.
Now let me be clear, I think that George Zimmerman just looks douchey. I am NOT a fan of his and think he was guilty of something.
I believe our justice system failed.
But I just dont want to be a walmart version of the media. Take a look at the other photos around. I think they are interesting, not saying their not typical of a teen with teen angst. But they are not as innocent as the hoodie photo.
My thoughts on the whole thing - its wicked sad. No kid should loose their life when walking home. The kid wasnt armed like this grown ass adult. And this adult, should have displayed restraint. Being a man isnt just knowing how to use arms but when to use them and when to hold back and keep the peace. That is real.
