Clint August has been a fixture in San Diego Radio for the past twelve years. He started out as a morning show side kick doing impersonation prank phone calls and crazy street stunts for almost seven years. He then became an on air co-host with Rock 105.3 in afternoon drive. He is now the midday host from 10:00a.m.-2:00p.m. Monday-Friday on Rock 105.3.
Clint is also a family man with a wife and two boys. He coaches soccer and t-ball and he is the co-founder and host of an annual military charity event to support our heroes in uniform. He enjoys riding his motorcycle with friends, hiking (mostly to the fridge for another snack), and he's been on the hunt for the best burger in San Diego for the past two years...which explains why he also needs to lose 50 lbs!!!

Extreme long boarding…Bombay Hills. Kinda cool… A new bike test gone very wrong on television… Treadmills are good for you until your head falls onto it… You’ve heard the term…”When Donkey’s Fly”… You never know when you’re live…STRONG LANGUAGE!!! An oldie but a goodie…makes me laugh everytime… Clint's final journal entry on Rock 105.3...
Clint’s Journal 07 20 10:
I went to pick up my Son’s and came home to get ready and head downtown to the MTS Trolley Station across the street from Comicon at the convention Center to host a costume contest. Several of the P1’s came out and the coolest part about it was that David from Comicon decided to run back to his hotel room when he found out that there were 11 contestants and only six winners. He actually made sure that every contestant got tickets for the event. Very cool.
After that I met my Pops at the gym for the second night in a row and when I got home I actually had green tea instead of stuffing myself. I felt miserable all day with acid reflux so it was the right choice. My pal Rudy came over and we also watched “The Condemned”, with Steve Austin.
I went to bed and called it a night.
Have a great day and if you want to read my journals you can click on the KGB website, the BC And Clint page...starting tomorrow.

Clint's Jacked Up Video Of The Day... I can't believe nobody got hurt during this epic crash... Clint's Babe Of The Day...
Clint's Journal from 07 19 10
After work I picked up my Son Dylan from our neighbor’s house. They were kind enough to take him to the beach for the day with their daughter Megan. He was excited about seeing a pod of dolphins while they were on the shoreline earlier in the day.
We picked up my son Gavin from pre-school and came home so the boys could play Wii.
My son Dylan wanted to skip his martial arts class and I feel guilty for letting him. Truth be told, I wanted to get some things moved from my garage into the front bedroom upstairs.I don’t like doing that but with the news of me moving to KGBin the afternoons this Thursday with my old partner BC, I have to get some things organized. It’s a scary and exciting time right now in radio and If I’m being honest, I’m not nervous for the first time in my life when it comes to a big change like this. I’m sure it’s because of my business coach Terry, helping me with my self confidence.
After my wife got home, she and the boys went to bed while I went to the gym with my pal Rudy. I had a great workout and then I blew it by eating Taco Bell late at night. I love that place but If I’m going to eat like that it should be earlier in the day.
I went to bed and got back up at 3:30a.m. due to acid reflux. I’ll learn some day.
Have a great day and I’ll see you tomorrow…

Clint’s Journal 07 16 - 07 18 10:
Friday: 07 16 10:
I left work on Friday and picked up both of my boys from daycare and we went home to go swimming for a little while. Before we did that, I had to go by the bank to pay some bills and the deal was that if they behaved I would get them Percy Jackson on DVD. They were good so we went to Target and got the movie.
At the pool my boys were great up until it was time to leave so I had to be tough Dad for a little while. I hate doing it but I know it’s necessary and it straightens their behavior out for later in life. The punishment was no Wii for the rest of the night and no swimming the following day.
We went home and had dinner and watched Percy Jackson. When my wife arrived she said hello and bolted out the door to go to our neighbor’s house for a jewelry party. I’m sure it was a drinking party as well. She got home around 11p.m. and we all fell asleep.
Saturday: 07 17 10:
I got up and sat with my family for a couple of hours and then I went with my buddy Rudy to Ombac’s Miss Emerson Bikini Contest 2010, to emcee the event at ShelterIsland. Holy Crap that place is a fun time. It’s a party with all kinds of drunk people and guys oogling the hot girls. I was in the OMBAC Tent waiting to do the contest so I got to take a bunch of pictures thanks to Rudy bringing his pocket camera. I’ve posted them on my page.
We had a chance to talk with the guys from OMBAC for a while after it was over. They’re a great group of folks. They do a lot more charity work than I even imagined.
Rudy and I took off for home and my wife, myself, Rudy and our neighbor Julie went to the Carlton Oaks Country Club for a few hours to eat and have some drinks. That was a fun time people watching. Of course I spilled my drink like a dork but Rudy was like the Matrix moving out of the way before a single drop hit him while cathing the ice in his hand…you had to see it.
We all went home and then I got denied by my wife…you know what I’m talking about.
Sunday: 07 18 10:
I got up intending to spend the day around the house cleaning up the garage but wound up running so many errands that it took me from 10:45a.m. to 3:45p.m. We decided to go swimming for about an hour before my parents came over. Rudy and I had some Rum and Coke while we swam a bit and then my family and I made taco salad for my Pops and my Stepmother Carmen. The boys went to bed with my wife and I watched True Blood with my parents. They took off and I went back over to Rudy’s house to have some more Rum And Coke. He was way ahead of me and I didn’t even try to catch up but it was a great time talking with him and his daughter Sarah.
